Aurizon Network submitted a draft amending access undertaking (the GAPE and Newlands pricing DAAU) in September 2022 that sought amendments—including adjustments to relevant reference tariffs—to reflect:
- a new cost allocation methodology for asset replacement and renewal expenditure in the shared rail corridor
- a change in the treatment of previously deferred expenditures.
We published our preliminary considerations on the GAPE and Newlands pricing DAAU and received three submissions in response.
On 14 February 2023 Aurizon Network withdrew its GAPE and Newlands pricing DAAU.
