Prices for water and sewerage services
Prices for water and sewerage services are determined by each of the council water businesses. The final water and sewerage bill customers receive has:
- water business charges (Gold Coast, Logan, Redland, Queensland Urban Utilities or Unitywater), for the cost of providing water distribution, retail and sewerage services
- state bulk water charge, which recover the cost of managing water supply assets (e.g. dams, weirs, pipelines and water treatment plants) provided by Seqwater.
