On 21 May 2017, the Minister for Energy, Biofuels and Water Supply directed us to provide advice on a time-varying solar price for regional Queensland for 2017–18.
In response to our draft report, we received one submission, from the Australian Energy Council.
Our final report includes a summary of stakeholder views, and updated peak and off-peak prices for the spot wholesale electricity pool price. The changes to ACIL Allen’s price modelling are summarised in its second report.
We released a draft report providing the government with advice to inform a time-varying solar price.
Submissions were due by 30 June 2017.
