Irrigation price investigation 2025–29

We have been directed by the Queensland Government to review the irrigation pricing practices of Seqwater and Sunwater. The purpose of the review is to recommend irrigation prices to apply for the 4-year period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029.

After extensive consultation with stakeholders, we published our draft reports on 5 July 2024. We also published scheme information sheets that provide an overview of our draft findings for each scheme.

In July and August 2024, we held stakeholder workshops across the state. The workshop presentations and summaries of key issues raised at each workshop are provided below.

Submissions on the draft reports closed on 16 September 2024. We will publish the submissions shortly.
