The online bill comparator is a simple tool for estimating indicative bill impacts under current and approved 2026–27 notified prices (and the approved solar FiT, where applicable) using your own consumption information. This differs from the bill impacts presented in the final determination, which are based on median customer consumption levels.
Your next annual bill will be estimated if you enter your expected electricity usage below, including any solar energy you export. You will also see how much that bill could differ from your previous annual bill.
The bill estimates are based on the regulated electricity prices in regional Queensland for the most common small customer tariffs and the solar feed-in tariff for 2025–26 and 2026–27.
Enter your expected annual usage and solar exports in the text boxes (in
kilowatt hours).
If you do not have a secondary controlled load tariff or a solar PV system, leave
these boxes empty.
You can use your actual usage/export from the past 12 months or your estimate for 2026–27 (for help, refer to Ergon Energy’s guide to reading your electricity bill).
