Gladstone Area Water Board 2010 Investigation of Pricing Practices

Ministers' Decision

In December 2010, the Premier and the Treasurer (the Ministers), accepted (without qualification) all of the recommendations regarding pricing practices contained in the Authority's Final Report titled,Gladstone Area Water Board: Investigation of Pricing Practices 2010.

The Ministers noted that they accepted the Authority's recommendation that price transitioning arrangements are a matter for GAWB to determine with its customers. The Ministers also noted the Authority's advice that GAWB and the Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) have reached agreement on an appropriate transitioning arrangement.
