Interim Price Monitoring of SEQ Water and Waste Water Distribution and Retail Activities

The Authority has been directed by the Premier and the Treasurer to recommend an interim price monitoring framework to apply to South East Queensland water and wastewater distribution and retail activities.

The Direction required a final report on information requirements for 2010/2011 by 31 December 2009.

The Direction also required a final report by 30 April 2010 on the recommended price monitoring framework to apply from 1 July 2010. The Authority’s proposals in this regard were addressed in the Authority’s draft report of 30 November 2009, which also covered the information requirements for 2010/11.

Submissions on the recommended price monitoring framework to apply from 1 July 2010 are sought by Friday 29 January 2010. Submissions should be sent to:
