April 2010 Extension DAAU
Extension of Termination Date
During 2009, the Queensland Competition Authority received from QR Network two draft amending access undertakings (DAAU) to extend the termination date of the 2008 undertaking, first from 30 June 2009 to 31 December 2009 and then to 31 May 2010. The Authority approved both DAAUs. Accordingly, the 2008 Access Undertaking now terminates on 31 May 2010.
Further Extension of Termination Date
On 20 April 2010, the Authority received from QR Network a draft amending access undertaking (DAAU) to extend the termination date of the 2008 undertaking from 31 May 2010 to 30 June 2010.
On 22 April 2010, the Authority issued QR Network with a notice of investigation and sought submissions from stakeholders. The Authority did not receive any submissions from stakeholders.
On 20 May 2010, the Authority approved the DAAU. Accordingly, the 2008 access undertaking now terminates on 30 June 2010.
