2001 Access Undertaking
Reference Tariffs
Reference tariffs are tariffs specified in the access arrangements as corresponding to a reference train service, and should be based upon the efficient cost of providing that service.
In October 1999 the Queensland Competition Authority released a discussion paper focusing on the assessment of Queensland Rail’s (QR) proposed reference tariffs that are to apply to the transportation of coal. The paper sought comment on a range of matters pertinent to the formation of reference tariffs.
