The DBCT access undertaking provides for us to approve the annual revenue requirement (ARR) and tariffs.

DBCT Management is required to submit a RAB roll-forward proposal to us by 15 May each year under the 2017 access undertaking.

2020–21 RAB roll-forward

On 18 June 2020, we approved:

  • DBCT Management’s annual revenue requirement for 2020–21
  • a change in terminal infrastructure charge-associated with the reference tonnage review event that DBCT Management submitted as part of its RAB roll-forward application.

We also accepted DBCT Management’s 2018–19 non-expansion capital expenditure claim for $25.7 million.

On 20 June 2019, we approved:

  • DBCT Management’s annual revenue requirement for 2019–20
  • a change in terminal infrastructure charge—associated with the reference tonnage review event that DBCT Management submitted as part of its RAB roll-forward application.

On the same date, we also accepted DBCTM’s non-expansion capital expenditure 2018 for $10.7 million.

RAB roll-forward 2018–19

On 21 June 2018, we approved:

  • DBCT Management (DBCTM)’s annual revenue requirement (ARR) for 2018–19
  • the change in terminal infrastructure charge (TIC) associated with the reference tonnage review event submitted as part of the roll-forward application.

These approvals were consistent with the terms of the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal access undertaking 2017.

On the same date,we also accepted DBCTM’s non-expansion capital expenditure 2018 for $10.7 million.

ARR roll-forward 2017–18

On 16 June 2017, we approved:

  • DBCT Management (DBCTM)’s annual revenue requirement (ARR) for 2017–18, consistent with the terms of the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Access Undertaking 2017 (the 2017 AU), and
  • the change in terminal infrastructure charge (TIC) associated with the reference tonnage review event submitted as part of the roll-forward application, also consistent with the terms of the 2017 AU.

On the same date, we also approved DBCTM’s May 2017 Incremental Expansion Study draft amending access undertaking (DAAU) and amending the 2017–18 regulated asset base (RAB), revenues and tariffs to reflect the $8.785 million in incremental expansion study costs.
