2006 Access Undertaking Amendments + Activities

ARR Roll-Forward 2009-10

The DBCT access undertaking provides for the Authority to approve the annual roll-forward of the terminal's regulated revenues and tariffs.

On 11 May 2009, DBCT Management formally requested that the Authority approve its Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR) roll forward calculation for 2009-10.

DBCT Management's submission noted that there is some uncertainty whether or not step B of the phase 2/3 expansion will be commissioned by 1 July 2009. Accordingly, the Authority has approved DBCT Management's application to increase the 2009-10 Annual Revenue Requirement to:

  1. $207,799,132 if phase 2/3 step B (increasing DBCT capacity from 72 mtpa to 85 mtpa) is commissioned prior to 1 July 2009; and

  2. $172,965,549 if phase 2/3 step B is commissioned on or after 1 July 2009.

If phase 2/3 step B is commissioned on or after 1 July 2009, DBCT Management will need to submit a new application to increase the ARR to account for that expansion.
