Principles for Auditing, Director Cooperation and Reporting of New Facilities Investment

The Service providers are required to provide annual Regulatory Accounting Statements in accordance with the Queensland Competition Authority's General Accounting Guidelines for Gas service providers.

The Authority has also released Principles for Auditing, Director Cooperation and Reporting of New Facilities Investment for Regulatory Accounting Statements.

The Principles require the service providers' Regulatory Accounting Statements to be adequately and independently audited. For audits arranged by the service providers to be considered satisfactory by the Authority, they must be conducted in line with the Principles.

The Principles also seek the cooperation of the service providers to prepare Directors' Responsibility Statements and to report actual New Facilities Investment on the disaggregated basis preferred by the Authority.
