Reference Tariffs

Reference Tariffs are tariffs specified in the access arrangements as corresponding to a Reference Service (such as delivering gas to the user, and installing and maintaining metering equipment), and should be based upon the efficient cost of providing that service. The Queensland Competition Authority determines whether a service provider's Reference Tariffs are in accordance with the principles outlined in the National Third Party Access Code for Natural Gas Pipelines Systems.

Tariff Schedules are submitted to the Authority for approval on an annual basis.
