Service Quality

The Authority requires DNSPs to provide data on specific service quality measures on a quarterly and annual basis. These requirements are contained in the Authority's Service Quality Reporting Guidelines, which also require DNSPs to provide service quality data in a common format proposed by the Utility Regulators' Forum.

The Authority provides quarterly assessments of the DNSP's service quality performance as well as an annual review of the DNSP's financial and service quality performance.

Under the Queensland Electricity Industry Code, DNSPs are required to report, on a quarterly basis, their performance against a set of Minimum Service Standards (MSS) and any payments made to customers for failing to meet Guaranteed Service Levels (GSL).

The four types of service quality reports and the Authority’s assessments can be downloaded from the corresponding Sub Issue headings:

  • Annual Financial and Service Quality Performance
  • Quarterly Service Quality Reports
  • Utility Regulators’ Forum Service Quality Reports
  • Quarterly MSS and GSL Reports
