Guidelines
The Electricity Distribution - Ring-fencing Guidelines detail the ring-fencing obligations of service providers and their compliance reporting requirements.
The Guidelines are effective from 19 December 2000, the date of commencement of the Queensland Competition Authority’s regulatory role in pricing. The Authority intends to review the Guidelines once every regulatory period to ensure they remain effective in achieving the Authority’s objectives. No changes were made to the Guidelines as a result of the 2005 Distribution Review.
