Distribution Pricing

Prescribed Distribution Services - Pricing

The Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs), Energex and Ergon Energy, are required to submit proposed distribution prices to apply in the coming financial year for approval by the Queensland Competition Authority. The Authority will only disallow the proposed prices if they are inconsistent with the distributors approved Pricing Principles Statements. To comply with the Rules, DNSPs must publish their schedule of prices by 31 May each year. Prices of a site-specific nature are not included in the Price Lists.
