Distribution Pricing

The Queensland Competition Authority's Final Determination: Regulation of Electricity Distribution (2005) (and prior to that, the Final Determination: Regulation of Electricity Distribution (2001)) require Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) to submit Pricing Principles Statements for approval prior to the beginning of each regulatory period. The Statements outline the objectives of, and method for determining, prices for prescribed distribution services.

In addition to this, each year the DNSPs must submit proposed prices for prescribed distribution services for the upcoming financial year for approval by the Authority.
