2009 Review

The Authority commenced its 2009 review of Ergon Energy's MTA arrangements in April 2009. The Code requires the Authority to make a decision on the continuation of the MTA arrangements by 30 June 2009.

On 27 April 2009, the Authority released an Issues Paper inviting submissions from interested parties. Submissions closed on 15 May 2009. The Authority received submissions from Ergon Energy and AGL.

The Authority has now completed its 2009 MTA review and, after reviewing the information submitted, has decided that the MTA arrangements should remain in force, to be reviewed again in 2010 in accordance with the Code.
