Distribution Services

Prescribed Distribution Services - Final Determination

The definition of what constitutes prescribes services is fundamental to the price review process, as it determines which services are to be subject to economic regulation by the Queensland Competition Authority.

Following consultation with stakeholders, the Authority released its Final Determination (September 2000) which outlined which distribution services are prescribed and the guidelines for applying for a service to be classified as excluded.
