Estimating a Fair and Reasonable Solar Feed-in Tariff for Queensland

On 7th August 2012, the Queensland Minister for Energy and Water Supply directed the Authority to report on a fair and reasonable feed-in tariff for small scale solar generation in Queensland. As part of its review, the Authority will examine approaches to estimating a fair and reasonable feed-in tariff rate and appropriate means of implementation. On 24 August 2012, the Authority released an Issues Paper inviting submissions from interested parties on a range of matters relevant to this review. Submissions on the Issues Paper closed on 17 September 2012. The Issues Paper and submissions received can be accessed here.

The Authority released a Draft Report on 27 November 2012 and received 16 submissions from interested parties. The Draft Report and submissions can be accessed here.

The Authority released its Final Report for the Minister's consideration on 22 March 2013. The Final Report can be downloaded here.
