Notified Electricity Prices 2009-10

Interim Consultation Notice

The Authority is required to calculate the BRCI for 2009-10 by 1 December 2008 and released an Interim Consultation Notice (available below) seeking submissions on issues to be considered in calculating the Benchmark Retail Cost Index for 2009-10.

In particular, the Authority sought comment on the following components of the BRCI:

  • the cost of energy;
  • network costs;
  • retail costs; and
  • the electricity load of Queensland.
