Further Consultation

In the covering letter attaching the new (6 February 2009) certificate of delegation, the Minister outlined his reasons for extending the deadline for the 2009-10 BRCI process.

In particular the Minister noted that, "I am aware of interested stakeholders that intend to use the additional time to make a submission relying on recent economic conditions. The time made available by the later date for the final decision should be used to maximise the consultation process with all stakeholders to ensure that the most reliable and up to date data is used to make your final decision."

In light of the Minister's comments, the Authority sought further submissions from stakeholders, to be considered along with issues raised in past submissions. Submissions closed on Friday 13 March 2009.
