Consultation Paper - NEM Load
On 8 May 2009, the Authority released a Consultation Paper proposing an alternative method for estimating the NEM load to be used in this calculation. The Authority also released a paper prepared by ACIL Tasman on this issue.
On 19 May 2009, the Authority released ACIL Tasman's half hour NEM load trace forecasts for 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 based on the methodology outlined in its paper.
The Authority proposes to use the load traces for 2008-09 and 2009-10 in its Final Decision on the 2009-10 BRCI.
Similarly, the Authority proposes to use the load traces for 2007-08 and 2008-09 in its Amended 2008-09 BRCI Decision implementing the recent Supreme Court Judgment.
