Aurizon Network submitted a draft access undertaking for the regulatory period commencing 1 July 2017 (the 2017 DAU).

On 6 December 2018, the QCA decided to refuse to approve Aurizon Network's 2017 DAU.

The QCA has issued a secondary undertaking notice that requests Aurizon Network to amend its 2017 DAU in accordance with the final decision and submit a compliant draft access undertaking to the QCA within 60 days to enable the QCA to approve a replacement access undertaking shortly thereafter.

The QCA’s final decision outlines the reasons for the refusal and how Aurizon Network should amend its 2017 DAU in order for the QCA to approve a replacement access undertaking for Aurizon Network's declared service.

The QCA's final decision on Aurizon Network's 2017 DAU, along with all stakeholder submissions and other relevant materials are published below.
